Today’s Travel Tuesday podcast on Newstalk’s High Noon took us to Andalucia in Spain.
It’s a part of the world I’ve blogged about before, but it was great to immerse myself in memories of it again.
I had to uncover the secret of Los Canos de Meca, an underdeveloped marvel of a beach town on Costa de la Luz.
We got to look at the incredible heritage of Ronda, from bullring to Spanish Civil War.
From Malaga to Seville, Cadiz to Granada, we whistle stopped through some of its great cities.
And we took side trips to Tarifa, Vejer de la Frontera, Gibraltar, and the spaghetti western settings of Almeria.
Listen as I try to convert George Hook from Spanish doubter to evangelist!
